Stayed in Flagstaff, AZ for a night. The hotel manager was nice and gave us free tickets to see the Lowell Observatory where Pluto was first discovered. A friendly staff member set up a telescope outside the visitor’s center, aimed at the sun. I have never seen a sun’s volcano erupt before, sending out streams of fire into space. As we marveled at the sun, our troubles seemed insignificant somehow… |
